Images below represent  some historical figures before and after the turn of the century as well as some general images of America. The industrial revolution would be a breeding ground for creative, hard-working men whose ideas and inventions forever changed the landscape of America and the world. A handful of men would amass fortunes unheard of in previous years. Many of these new millionaires used unethical and at times, illegal means, to dominate and control  their particular industry.

(In the image below) President Woodrow Wilson is speaking before a joint session of Congress, requesting that America declare war on Germany. (and later on Austria-Hungary.)

The war in Europe began in 1914 when Austria-Hungary declared war on Serbia. It would end in November of 1918 with surrender of Germany.

THE GREAT DEPRESSION

The Great Depression caused a long period of very hard lean times. Jobs were scarce and people lived with bare essentials.

If you think Communism, Marxism or Fascism are good ways to govern and that those who attack without warning or cause , independent, sovereign nations think about 100 million people dying in a span of about 5 years. Three dictators in three small countries tried to take over and dominate the entire world.

The frightening part is that they almost did. The more frightening part is that we are witnessing history repeat itself with the offensive and foolish Marxist garbage being forced on societies.  We are already seeing the death toll begin to rise as evil is never satisfied and rises to force the world into submission.

Dec. 7, 1941 marks a the day that would change the course of history for America and the world. Attacked by the Japanese who had hoped to deliver a fatal blow and keep the U.S. from fighting was not to be. What the attack on Pearl Harbor did was to inspire a nation to become a world superpower by creating the largest and most powerful military in the world.
To give you one small example, when the war began, the United States Navy had seven  air craft carriers. By the end of WW2 there were 151. No other nation kept pace with America and we were making tanks and equipment for our allies as well.
