Make Time For Freedom

Most people do not want to be consumed with politics and government.

Many of us live busy lives and come to expect certain things to stay the same. Most of us probably never dreamed that what is happening now would ever take place. We have not had the time to worry about freedom and the rights we take for granted. However, we must live in reality no matter how inconvenient, difficult, or challenging it may be. And as Americans, we are facing our nation’s most critical moment, and it is all or nothing.

I have paid close enough attention for long enough to know we are losing this country at light speed.

Americas founders realized and were concerned for the potential of future government corruption.

So much so, they gave us instructions on what to do should our government reach the point of no longer supporting the constitution or the citizens. These men were so wise it was frightening. This is what they wrote for us.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. To secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

In his book, “The Signers, the 56 stories behind the Declaration of Independence”, Dennis Brindell Fandin wrote;

The British targeted the fifty-six signers (of the Declaration of Independence) for special punishment. the homes of twelve signers were burned, and nearly twenty of them lost much of what they owned. According to some estimates, nine signers died as a result of hardships they suffered during the Revolution. Yet not one signer changed his stance on independence. All of them kept the promise they had made in the Declaration of Independence- that they would “stake their lives…fortunes, and…sacred honor on their county`s cause.”

 

We still have the law and most of the constitution

But they are useless if we sit back and refuse to go all in and defend them. For God and country always had a nice ring to it. But God and not government control my life no matter what laws politicians make or how corrupt they all become. Our founders made the time and sacrificed their lives and wealth for freedom. Some two hundred and fifty years later, we would prefer to talk about football (how did that turn out?) and avoid the important issues of religion and politics.

They went to war for us, and many died while we sit and watch our athletes, politicians, and government officials make a mockery of us all. Even those closest to Trump bailed and betrayed the president and the nation when it mattered the most. The left has targeted those who stuck with the president because that is what communists do.

Communists can generally only have what they can take by force or by deception.

Because if people know what they are doing, citizens will not voluntarily accept their system of government. That is another reason for bringing tens of thousands of new loyal, dependent illegals from all over the world across our southern border. Illegals will support whatever this administration wants if they want to stay in this country.  And while there are exceptions, they are very few.

Trump was born into wealth, but He was always an outsider who worked hard and built a legacy and an empire before setting it all aside to serve his country. Never has a sitting president been so unjustly treated by his government as was Trump. They did not hide what they were doing and repeated the same things over and over each day.

  • It was like listening to a thousand fingers raking across a chalkboard.
  • The way the swamp treated our president directly reflects how they think of you and me.
  • After four long years of investigations and false claims, they found nothing on Donald J. Trump.
  • None of the liberals did their job or supported anything that helped our country. How pathetic!

We cannot afford to be lax or indifferent to what is going on all around us.

As Christians, we should not be ignorant of the Devils schemes. We should always stand for and speak up for the truth. We can do that where we are among those we associate and live with. The Lord tells us over and over throughout scripture to “fear not.” No matter what, He is in control, and He is over all things.

We must make time for freedom, or in time, our freedom will be a thing of the past.
