But, unfortunately, the left continues to take advantage of the ignorance of Americans who do not know American or world history. It makes you wonder what they do in school all day.
And calling someone racist is easy to say, hard to prove, and difficult to defend. Moreover, making claims that an entire race of people is racist cannot be backed up with facts or history. They conveniently dismiss the fact that it was also whites who fought for and freed the slaves.
This country was not founded on slavery, and wouldn`t you know, we still have the documents that prove it. The men who formed this nation some 240 years ago were knowledgeable, passionate, educated, and brilliant. And the majority of them opposed slavery.
The constitution the founding fathers put together created a document that made America the freest nation in the world. And, For the first time, a government was created under the belief that God gave certain rights to individuals, and the government was to be the defender and protector of these rights.
And all men meant all men, even if it was not the reality at the time. Slavery was one of the biggest complaints against the King and Britain, so go back and get the facts because you won’t get those from school or a 30 second sound bite on CNN.
If these men were racists, as woke radicals claim today, they would have added slavery into the constitution, but they didn’t. Slavery was not created out of racism but out of vulnerability and was suffered by people worldwide, including whites. Turning it into a black/white issue is to ignore history and reality.
And obviously, it did become that, especially in the south after the civil war.
Those who have claimed slavery was founded upon racial bias do so for personal gain and to cause false guilt on people who had nothing to do with it in the first place. But, unfortunately, these same so-called historians are silent on slavery, which still exists today in parts of Nigeria and Sudan.
North African pirates enslaved at least one million WHITE Europeans, but that small fact is overlooked in today`s fake history lessons. Likewise, China had widespread slavery, as did India and The Ottoman empire. Slavery was everywhere and was not viewed in terms of morality, which is how we all view it in the 21st century.
There has not been found so much as one written sentence in history where anyone objected to slavery based on morality until white people did so in the 18th century. Slavery in Africa existed before, during, and after slavery in America. And Africans kept far more blacks enslaved than were exported to the states. So this idea that white Europeans kidnapped Africans is absurd, and history does not support it.
Asians enslaved other Asians, whites enslaved other whites, Africans other Africans, and many combinations of these and others existed throughout history.
Countries, tribes, and groups worldwide who were weak, lacked a strong military, or were without protection were vulnerable to becoming slaves. For example, if you went to war and lost, your people, regardless of color, were likely going to become slaves. The alternative would be to kill everyone, so slavery, under those circumstances, was the better option.
Ironically, even though Britain led the world in the number of slaves held at the time, the first objections to slavery came from white religious people who, for the first time, raised moral concerns over the institution. But it was directed at slavery, which existed worldwide, and not on claims of racism since every skin color was enslaved somewhere.
They were the lone voice in a world that found these claims to attack their way of life. That includes Africans and every other continent on the planet. No one supported this new idea. At the time, the British had the most powerful military globally, which they used to ban slavery.
Still, many countries remained opposed to ending slavery and disagreed with the new moral grounds for its dismissal. But because the British were consistent and unrelenting, the practice of slavery among the nations was, for the most part, eventually eliminated.
If you have never read Thomas Sowell`s “Black Rednecks and White Liberals,” I highly recommend reading it. His books and interviews have been enlightening and fascinating, and you will not be disappointed in his knowledge of history and data supporting his views.
It is much easier to repeat the latest racial propaganda and fuel our hatred and biases regarding race. But in reality, there is only one human race. But if we choose to be divided over things none of us control and accept racist propaganda, history has a way of repeating itself.
Blacks and whites can be proud that even though there were bad times and things no one is proud of, slavery was abolished. It took centuries of hardship, a civil war, civil rights conflicts, and injustices to get to today. And to watch politicians and those seeking personal gains use race to distort our history and divide our nation is shameful.
We cannot move forward today as a nation if we think our job is to right all the wrongs of the past. Undoubtedly, slavery came with a massive price tag for both the slaves and the 700,000 Americans who died to free them.
The idea that justice can be realized when all slave owners and slaves of the past are long gone is not very bright. So who then do we need to get justice for?
The constitution is good as it is because it is not racist but color blind. But, unfortunately, the government made a big mistake when it began to give special rights to minorities, and it has not had the kind of results they thought. Quite the contrary, they created a welfare state that crippled growth, harmed the family, and removed personal accountability.
Does anyone realize that blacks had made the largest gains economically in recorded history before all the civil rights and the welfare state came about?
They did this under Jim Crow and widespread racial discrimination and oppression.
Eventually, the federal government passed laws to ensure that blacks were given priority over anyone else, which violates the constitution. The federal government implemented the welfare state to make blacks dependent on the government.
Affirmative action is racist, which should be obvious. With no accountability or exit plan, handouts have done nothing to improve black families and have aided in their destruction. In addition, the mother and kids could benefit financially if the father were not in the home, which was a gross misuse of power by our government.
But why would Democrats continue to push welfare and handouts even after the welfare state has had a negative outcome for the black community?
Can you say guaranteed voter base?
That is exactly why they continue to beat a dead horse. And why not? If blacks continue to vote for the politicians who promise them something for free, they will keep promising and giving away free stuff.
If you think It is because the democrats are benevolent, think again. For one thing, it isn`t their money they so generously redistribute, and the other is that they could care less about anything except re-election and power.
Once again, black Americans are being disrespected and used by the liberals. Sadly, it also speaks to the moral decline among blacks who vote democrat no matter what the liberals do or say.
Abortion on demand and attacks on religious liberty and free speech are ignored or justified so long as the left keeps making promises to give more. So is morality no longer of interest because blacks associate it with a white God?
That god does not exist, by the way, because God is not a man; He is Spirit. I was so disappointed in churches that would allow politicians who fight and stand against the clear teaching of scripture to have access in their pulpits and exploit the church for political gains.
Churches that allow this sort of gross abomination are nothing more than religious. Their priority is not to glorify Christ but their perceived benefits. That is not how the body of Christ operates and has nothing to do with the truth of the gospel.
Politicians have used black churches to push their propaganda and convince the black population that they are looking out for them. To this day, I cannot understand how Bill and Hillary Clinton failed to bust into flames standing behind the pulpit.
Put on your thinking cap and see past all the rhetoric. The federal government has, in essence, been paying the black families to stay apart. So long as dad is gone, mom and the kids get paid. But then, dad comes home with a nickel, and the government payday disappears.
Racism cannot be paid off, coddled, justified, or nurtured along like an old friend. With the constitution we have, discrimination is illegal. Does that eliminate it? No, and nothing will. But, the more we focus on race, the more divided we become. So, the answer is not to focus on the color of people’s skin but the content of character. Dr. King was right.
We will always have those in society who are filled with racism. But we should treat people as individuals and hold each person responsible for their actions and character.
It doesn’t take much to change how history is viewed and can be done primarily by omitting relevant facts and data. Something the left are experts at. So blacks grow up being incited, misled, misinformed, and told they are victims.
That is a big mistake to blacks or anyone else who looks to the government as their savior. I challenge you to study history and quit buying into the idea that anyone who owned a slave is evil and should be canceled.
Here is a fun fact. The current black vice president, Kamala Harris, comes from a family of slave owners. I bet you didn’t know that? It changes things a bit, I suppose. So we should stop all the ridiculous hypocrisy.
We can’t ignore that black men have higher dropout rates, have kids they seldom live with or see, have higher incarceration rates, and earn less in the workforce. But what the government has done only made things worse.
And no, it is not systemic racism because that does not hold up when we compare blacks after the civil war and up until the 1940s with blacks today. The biggest difference between then and now was that black families stayed together with few exceptions. Kids grew up with a mother and a father in the home, which provided discipline and nurturing.
And when that was the norm, the black community flourished like no other.
Today that is flipped upside down, and the opposite is true.
While divorce affected whites and other ethnic minorities, none has been as extreme as among black families. If mom and dad are both home and working, then welfare is not needed. You may not like what I am saying, but the data and facts don’t lie. And it is not a dig on blacks. I want to help people understand that what is being told by the left is a big lie and creates more problems.
And it is young boys who are now becoming biological fathers but are often too immature and have no moral compass to guide them to do the right things. As a result, far too many young black children are growing up without a dad.
School is anti-Christ, anti-bible, and anti-morality. Which means they will get no instruction there. The school’s solution had been to hand out condoms and promote abortion. How has that been working?
Where is the outrage over all the black-on-black murders that have been going on in our nation’s cities for decades? How are the politicians addressing the real issue? I know, complete silence because they do not care.
Once you entitle any group, you will reap unsatisfied, discontented, and complaining people. Continually feed them the idea that everything in life is all about race, and they will eventually believe it.
The foolish and outrageous notion that Americans are all part of a white supremacist group makes me laugh because it is absurd. And that is what the party of slavery is trying to convince Americans.
By the way, where is the evidence, data, and facts to support these stupid claims? Well, if we are even slightly honest, we all know that this is a big hoax. And it will have consequences that hurt all of us in the long run.
The communists purposely create as much chaos as possible and attack every society, government, and life. They will not stop until someone makes them stop. I promise you we will not have anything that resembles freedom if this continues much longer.
I think there are many blacks today who disagree with what is going on. But, if they speak up, they are called uncle tom, labeled as traitors to the black cause, and treated as outsiders.
And not just by someone in the media. It may be their own family and friends.
The left has been using the media as their loudspeaker to spread false information and divide this nation based on race. Every single issue now must be viewed by the color of our skin.
America is unique in that we do not have a face that we can call American. You can migrate here from anywhere in the world, become a citizen, and be an American. You cannot go anywhere else on the planet and experience that.
You will seldom if ever, hear facts and truth coming from the left on any issue or topic, but you will hear plenty of slander and labeling of innocent people.
The press is on a mission to divide our country, and it is a tried and tested method of the communists.
The main way the communists have planned to divide our country all along has been to use racism. I remember reading that years ago and thinking it would not work out just because America had been taking steps in the right direction for so long. I was wrong, and they have now done exactly what they wanted to do.
Even though each generation has made progress by not focusing on race, all of that is now out the window for political gain and power.
Nor do they need someone to tell them how to vote or use them the way the democrats have for decades—the very ones who supported slavery and fought to keep segregation.
Only a racist thinks like that!
Democrats and Southern states continued their racist ignorance for a long time. And yet, none of the injustice, bias, prejudice, or oppression kept blacks from making the largest economic growth in their history.
And if ever someone had the right to not progress and instead point to injustice, those former slaves did.
But they did not point the finger and instead moved forward. So why now, after all of these years, are young black men not as successful as they could be and are content to be used by democratic as puppets to create the chaos the party wants?
Killing each other at an alarming rate for decades now, winding up in prison, and dropping out of school cannot be blamed on slavery and racism if we use facts.
When you start thinking that everyone different from you only sees your skin color, that is your fault, and you are the one who is acting racist.
That is basic truth and common sense. Just because someone mistreats you and you have a bad experience does not give you the right to blame everyone who looks like the one who offended you. That is ignorance.
They have and can contribute to the nation’s good. This is their nation as much as any American. Blacks fought in the Revolutionary War and the civil war, and this country is not based on skin color like every other nation on the planet.
They endured genuine hatred and ignorance from racist whites in the South, yet they flourished and prospered for many years. But the key then was that the family unit was intact in the majority of black homes.
White or black doesn’t matter. There were white slaves throughout history, including in this nation. That does not make me a victim.
God created one race, and that is the human race.
